Within our student registration form, there is a section providing an opportunity for a student or a family with Indigenous ancestry to voluntarily participate in our self-identification program. This program is part of our commitment to implementing the Ontario Ministry of Education's First Nation, Métis, and Inuit Education Policy Framework.

We are committed to supporting success for Indigenous learners by increasing awareness of the learning styles of students and increasing all staff and students' understanding of First Nation, Métis, and Inuit cultures, histories, and perspectives.

If you have questions regarding this voluntary self-identification component of our registration, please contactÌýColleen Honey by email or at 705-742-9773 or toll-free at 877-741-4577, extension 2602

Find a School

Use the Find A School tool to locate your nearest Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ school based on your home address.

If you would like your child to attend a school other than the one designated for your home address, you will need to fill out theÌýStudent Transfer Request Form.Ìý As a rule, schools are able to take out-of-boundary students only if there is space left once they accommodate students within their own boundaries. Also note,ÌýBoard Policy BA-7.1, Student Accommodation Planning, andÌýAdministrative Regulation BA-7.1.2, Student Transfers, provides administration with the ability to close schools to out-of-boundary students, where the accommodation and staffing capacities have been reached or are expected to be reached. These are theÌýschools that are currently closed to out-of-boundary students.
TheÌýStudent Transfer Request FormÌýmust be submitted to and approved by the receiving school's principal.Ìý If approved for out-of-boundary accommodation, the Student Transfer Acknowledgement Form will need to be completed.Ìý
