Dear ˿Ƶ Families,

During National Volunteer Week (April 14-20), we have been offering thanks to the many incredible volunteers who make a positive impact, share their passion for education, and support ˿Ƶ students in so many ways!

With Earth Day approaching on April 22, this week’s rainy weather is a reminder about the significant role our environment plays in all aspects of our lives. When we reflect on food and energy consumption, waste, and transportation – our choices can have a significant collective impact on our planet.

On Wednesday, April 24, please join us in saying Happy Administrative Professionals’ Day to school and department secretaries, and all the office professionals at ˿Ƶ. We have a valuable group of administrative staff who provide important services to our students, our district, families, and school communities, support student success, and help to create safe, welcoming, and inclusive schools.

There are several days of significance in the coming week. April 20 is the first day of Ridvan, and we extend good wishes to all those in our communities who will be observing this joyous festival. April 22 is the beginning of Pesach (Passover). Over the coming days, we would like to wish all those observing Pesach (Passover) a peaceful time of reflection and celebration. For more information about these and other days of significance, please visit the

Best wishes for a lovely weekend!
